Stephen Schweich has spent over 30 years working in the investment banking industry in North America and Europe. He began his career as an equity research analyst at Alex Brown & Sons (Baltimore) then moved to Robertson Stephens (San Francisco). After moving to London, Stephen started Robertson Stephens’ International division, which eventually opened offices in Munich and Tel Aviv, and conducted capital markets operations throughout Europe. Stephen was one of the founders of the technology-focused M&A advisory firm, Mooreland Partners, which was acquired by Stifel Financial in 2019. Today, Stephen is a direct investor in over 25 private companies, and advises several venture capital and growth equity firms. He is Chairman of Cherrystone Angel Group, the Providence, RI based investment group established in 2004, and he also serves as a Board member and advisor to several early stage businesses. He received his B.A. from Amherst College, CEP from L’Institut d`Etudes Politiques de Paris, and MBA from Harvard Business School.
