Senior Mobile Applications Engineer (iOS + Android)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with hardware, and software engineers
  • Work closely with backend team to design data contracts and document features and testing
  • Contribute to the entire iOS and Android mobile app development life cycle from planning, designing, developing, testing to releasing to Apple Store or Google Play
  • Analyze and monitor user metrics and feedback to improve user experience and engagement
  • Communicate effectively with immediate and external team members
  • Drive cross team projects to completion working with other backend engineers, mobile app developers and designers
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience designing, testing, debugging, and deploying native iOS and Android apps
  • Proficiency in iOS app development with XCode, Swift and CocoaPods, excellent knowledge of design patterns, MVVM, LLDB, Codable, SQLite, Core Data
  • Extensive experience with iOS UI design frameworks, UIKit, Interface Builder and Auto Layout
  • Solid experience with Android app development with Android Studio, experience with cross-platform mobile framework (Flutter/React Native) is a plus
  • Experience developing libraries/frameworks and tools that are used by other developers
  • Product minded engineer with focus on customer experience
  • Willingness to learn new mobile OS features and technologies and grow rapidly across iOS, Android and other platforms
  • Firm belief that testing is important, experience writing and executing unit tests, functional tests and integration tests is highly preferred
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related technical field
